Our Research Team

 

G. Christopher Stecker, Ph.D. is Director of the Spatial Hearing Laboratory at Boys Town National Research Hospital, Adjoint Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and Founder of Auditory Space, LLC. He received his Ph.D. in Psychoacoustics from the University of California, Berkeley and has conducted psychophysical, acoustical, and neuroimaging research in human spatial hearing. His interests include spatial perception in acoustically complex environments, multisensory perception, audio for virtual and augmented reality, and the functions of human auditory cortex.
