Areas of Research

Translating research to change the way America cares for children and families.

We are internationally recognized as a leader in clinical and research programs focusing on childhood deafness, visual impairment and related communication disorders. In 2013, we began a new frontier in neurobehavioral research using brain-imaging techniques to help diagnose and treat troubled children with severe behavioral and mental health problems.
