Research Administration Office
Research Administration Office
Boys Town's Research Administration Office provides researchers with the services and resources to successfully apply for and manage funding for their research projects, as well as supporting day-to-day lab and department operations.
The Grant Administration team works with researchers to manage submission of grant applications, subawards to and from other institutions, post-submission materials such as updated publication lists, post-award Research Performance Progress Reports (RPPRs), budget revisions, no-cost extensions, and grant transfers from other institutions.
Researchers receive assistance with preparation of sponsored program proposals involving research and training grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Education (DoE), and other sources. Administrative staff help to ensure that all funding agency guidelines and federal and other applicable regulations are met, and act as a liaison between Boys Town and sponsor officials.
The Grant Accounting team works with researchers to develop initial project budgets for their proposals and updated budgets for their active awards.
The Research Administration team provides support for contracts and agreements, procurement and travel requests, assistance scheduling visitors for colloquiums and meetings, expense processing, and a variety of other administrative needs.
