Integrated Physical Health Care
Our psychiatrists work closely with Boys Town National Research Hospital Board-Certified Pediatricians and other pediatric specialists to ensure comprehensive medical care and medication management. Services include:
- Comprehensive physical examination completed shortly after admission determines the course of treatment for healthcare
- Assessment of medication by a psychiatrist and pediatrician and ongoing medication management
- Ongoing assessment of physical health needs by registered nurses with special training in behavioral and mental health who work in close cooperation with the RTC staff
- Onsite medical care for illness and emergencies
