Chemical Use Program

The Boys Town Chemical Use Program is committed to serving youth by providing drug and alcohol education, treatment and prevention services. We serve youth, ages 11-19, with varying conditions — from those who are experiencing challenges related to the early stages of substance use, to those who have been diagnosed with long-term substance use or severe disorders, including co-existing mental health conditions.

Outpatient Treatment Program

Our outpatient program is designed to work effectively and simultaneously with support from families, schools, caseworkers, parole and probation officers and other mental health providers. Parents may self-refer to our program. We also accept referrals from court officials, social workers, school personnel and medical professionals.

The Boys Town Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program utilizes an evidenced based treatment program approved through Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) for effective treatment outcomes. Intensive outpatient treatment services includes up to 9 hours of group psychotherapyInt per week and individual and family psychotherapy services, with strong emphasis on the family system and improved family functioning.

Appointment times and group sessions are scheduled after school hours to accommodate parent/youth schedules. Groups convene three times per week for 3 hours increments.
