Fight the Flu - Now Scheduling Flu Vaccines
The best way to prevent the flu is to get the annual influenza vaccine. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), everyone 6 months and older should receive a vaccination in early fall or as soon as it is available. This recommendation holds true during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Boys Town Pediatrics and Boys Town Internal Medicine are scheduling flu vaccinations for patients. Contact your clinic today.

What to Expect at Our Drive-Thru Clinics
Upon arrival you will be greeted by a Boys Town staff who will request your patient information sheet, check-in the patient(s), and direct you to a parking lane. You will wait in your car until a health professional is ready to administer your vaccine. The healthcare provider will recheck the names of the people who are scheduled for a flu vaccine and ask for a signed consent. The health professional will give the influenza vaccine while you sit in your car. A chair will be available in the parking lane if you prefer to sit outside your car or if it is easier to hold your child for the vaccine. Then you will be on your way.
Download the Patient Information Sheet. Fill out one for each patient receiving the vaccine.
We request that you wear a mask while we are providing the flu vaccine to you in your car. Thank you for understanding and following our guidelines as we adhere to the CDC recommendations to help keep you, your family and our community safe and healthy.
