Getting to Know You: Promoting Social-Cognitive Development in Children Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

During the preschool years, children advance in their ability to understand the beliefs, desires and feelings of others (theory of mind). This lecture will cover social-cognitive skills and how parents and teachers can encourage and further the child’s development.
