Living Well with Tinnitus

​​​Nearly 50 million Americans report some degree of tinnitus, or ringing in the ears. Boys Town National Research Hospital is offering a free two‑hour ​class for anyone who is concerned about their tinnitus or who has a friend or loved one with tinnitus.

​​This class will provide education about tinnitus causes and treatments that can help patients with tinnitus learn to manage and live well with the condition. Boys Town audiologists Leisha Eiten, Au.D., CCC-A, and Joel Edwards, Au.D., CCC-A, will cover topics including:
  • What tinnitus is
  • How tinnitus can affect you
  • Ways to reduce tinnitus annoyance
  • Listening device options for tinnitus

The class includes a light snack. Attendees will be allowed to interact and talk about their tinnitus experience.
