Student Profile Study Group
Facilitated by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, this group focuses on the auditory, speech, language, academic, cognitive and social-emotional areas of student development by:
- Determining appropriate assessments for students with hearing loss
- Interpreting assessment results
- Designing possible educational plans to build on a student’s strengths and address challenges
The Student Profile group focuses on specific age categories: birth to 3 years, preschoolers and school-age. Groups may also request that the group address a range of ages from infancy through high school. The group consists of three 2-hour courses (6 hours total); however, additional hours may be added to tailor the study group to the specific needs of the organization.
