Our Surgery Team

Our surgical team includes board certified physicians, registered nurses and support staff. We exceed the recommended staffing standards for the care of our patients.

Child life specialists are on-site and available to help alleviate fears and anxieties a child may experience during hospitalization through medical play, education and coping strategies.

Many children require sedation for procedures. All children will be cared for by a board certified physician anesthesiologist experienced in sedation and anesthesia for even the smallest of patients. Our anesthesiologists are known for their gentle care and will remain by your child’s side throughout any medical procedure using anesthesia.

Your Surgical Stay

Whether you are being discharged the same day as your surgery or the next day, you will have a private room with a private bathroom, telephone and television. Family and friends may visit you before and after your surgery, as well as wait in comfort and privacy of your room during surgery.
