Andrew Raduechel

Tuesday, March 19, 2024

Director of Pharmacy Andrew Raduechel, PharmD, has recently been elected to leadership roles within two Nebraska healthcare organizations: the Nebraska Pharmacists Association (NPA) and the Immunization Task Force (ITF) – Metro Omaha.

Both organizations offer education opportunities and improved care practices for healthcare providers, which trickle down into improved care for patients and their families – a core tenet of the Boys Town mission.

“Being in these positions gives me a chance to show people how special our mission is at Boys Town," said Dr. Raduechel. “This happens because when you work at Boys Town, Father Flannagan's mission starts to permeate all we do. It is built on service to others. This is an extension of that – another way to serve."

Dr. Raduechel has been elected as treasurer to the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Pharmacists Association (NPA), a group focused on providing resources to the Nebraska pharmacy community.

Dr. Raduechel has also been elected as the Chair of the ITF – Metro Omaha for 2024. Dr. Raduechel will oversee the membership and steering committees, organize the ITF annual conference, work to expand the ITF to the entire state and lead community immunization advocacy efforts.

“Having Boys Town leader involvement in these types of roles is important because we work to serve not only our own patients and families, but also the community," said Sarah Bowes, Boys Town Senior Director of Ancillaries and Support. “Andrew is a strong clinical leader and has demonstrated effective healthcare legislative advocacy by sharing impactful stories and connecting decision makers to the front-line and patients they serve. I am excited to see what he accomplishes over the next few years!"

Congratulations to Dr. Raduechel!
