Our Facility
Children have unique needs that are different from those of adolescents. We offer a dedicated center with a separate classroom and living area for children ages 5 to 11.
Our Psycho-Educational Treatment model has been modified to reflect their young age. The model includes more individual teaching with higher rates of positive reinforcement, additional play time to develop peer relationships and release energy and additional time out when they are upset.
Our goal is to help children engage in age-appropriate activities with others their age. Our indoor gym and expansive outdoor park provide plenty of space to develop healthy social skills.
Helping children continue to feel connected to their families when they are out of their homes is essential to their success. Weekly family therapy sessions, or more if needed, allow parents to connect with their children in person or via teleconference.
