Emma Kate Thome

Research Speech-Language Pathologist

Emma Kate works in the Emerging Language Knowledge Lab at the Center for Childhood Deafness, Language, and Learning. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Mississippi. Emma Kate has experience working with children with dyslexia as well as children with autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and Prader-Willi syndrome.

Research Assistant

Jacqueline Zhang is a Research Assistant at the Emerging Language Knowledge Lab and earned her B.S. in Psychology at Emory University. Her research interests sit at the intersection of psychology and linguistics, particularly in the typical and atypical trajectory of early language acquisition. She is excited to interact with participants and other researchers and to dedicate herself to a field that is clinically meaningful.
