Administrative Core

The Administrative Core is under the direction of the CPCC Program Director, Walt Jesteadt. Dr. Jesteadt has twenty-five years of experience in more general research administration. Under his supervision, the Administrative Core will be responsible for the following functions:

  • Monitoring both project and core budgets
  • Maintaining the CPCC website
  • Supporting compliance functions
  • Maintaining contact with the External Advisory Committee
  • Making travel arrangements for members of the Center

The goal of the Administrative Core is to manage resources within the Center for Perception and Communication in Children. Aims of the Administrative Core include:

  • Conducting periodic assessments of scientific progress
  • Coordinating and evaluating a mentoring program
  • Performing other essential management functions required to develop and maintain a cohesive center
