Slow Down for Better Health
Jeremiah Gums, M.D. Internal Medicine
There definitely can be a lot of health consequences and complications from being on the go all the time.
Stress is definitely a big one, but also diet tends to play into that as well.
So, it's very difficult to keep a healthy diet if you're always on the go or always rushing around.
It's important to try to take some time each day to eat a healthy balanced diet as well as take some time for yourself, get some exercise as well as get some time with your family.
Being "on the go" can be unhealthy.
Dr. Jeremiah Gums, Internist with Boys Town Internal Medicine, explains the importance of slowing down to your overall health.
