Chad M. Rotolo, Director of Clinical Systems at Boys Town National Research Hospital received “The Caring Kind” award on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Embassy Suites Omaha-La Vista Hotel annual awards luncheon. Every year, the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) bestows the award to Nebraskan health care employees who continue to provide caring and compassionate dedication in their workplace. More than 500 guests were in attendance to watch the 78 honorees receive their award.
“Rotolo is passionate about patient care and looks for new ways to improve our technology systems that benefit both the patient and the provider,” said John Arch, Executive Vice President of Health Care at Boys Town and Director of Boys Town National Research Hospital. “He exemplifies caring, compassion, teamwork and service excellence and I am honored to have nominated him and be here to see him receive his recognition.”
Rotolo and the IT team recently implemented a patient portal allowing patients and families to communicate electronically to their provider and care team in a more efficient way for all. Rotolo is highly respected by his colleagues, leadership staff, physicians, and nurses for his continued work ethic both on-site and at home to resolve system issues.
“It is always gratifying to receive the recognition of one’s peers and coworkers and I thank Boys Town National Research Hospital for nominating me for this wonderful award,” said Rotolo.
Please join us in congratulating Chad Rotolo on his deserving Caring Kind award and for his support and dedication to the Hospital for more than 15 years!
