Purpose:

The primary purpose of the conference is to build relationships between researchers and clinicians at Boys Town National Research Hospital who study children with Developmental Language Disorders (DLD) and community partners who provide educational and clinical services to these children. Through this relationship, we will support each other in our joint goal of helping children with DLD and their families.

Objectives:

  • Gain a better understanding of how to support children with DLD in both initial diagnosis and continued clinical services
  • Learn how to build relationships between clinicians and researchers so we can better support each other in our joint goals
  • Identify how to best support families of children with DLD
