Parent Talk: Getting Your Toddler to Listen

Do you find that no matter how many times you ask or what voice tone you use, your toddler just won’t listen? Most toddlers have perfect hearing, but almost none have perfect listening. Join Amanda McLean, Licensed Psychologist at Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health, and learn how to get your toddler to listen the first time without raising your voice. Take home a variety of techniques to improve listening skills, including giving effective instructions, guided compliance and time-out strategies.
