Research Participation

Boys Town National Research Hospital and the Lied Learning and Technology Center have numerous opportunities for research participation for children and adults with normal hearing or varying degrees of hearing loss, those with hearing aids and those with cochlear implants. Studies help us learn more about hearing, speech and language. The amount of time required varies from one visit to several visits depending on the study. Scheduling is usually flexible, and evening and Saturday times may be available. Participants are often paid hourly for their time and in some cases standard hearing, speech and language tests are done at no cost. There is no obligation to participate.
