Boys Town National Research Hospital is currently seeking studies on the safety and effectiveness of medications and treatments for asthma, rhinitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and related respiratory disorders; ear, nose and throat diseases and disorders; pediatric gastroenterology, and vaccinations in both children and adults. Prebiotic Infant Formula Research Study
Boys Town National Research Hospital is currently investigating ingredients in infant formulas that may enhance gastrointestinal health.
Your child may be eligible for this study if:
- Your child is between 2 – 6 months of age,
- Your child receives only standard infant formula (no solid foods)
- Your child is healthy without any current acute or chronic disease,
- Your child is not receiving any medications, with the exception of daily multivitamins,
- Your child’s growth is greater than the 5th percentile for both height and weight, and
- You and your child can attend two study visits at the hospital
You and your child will need to attend an initial consent visit and two study visits. Families will receive a supply of infant formula after the consent visit and a $50 gift card after each completed study visit.
