The Boys Town Sleep Disorders Center, in partnership with Alegent Health,
evaluates children ages 3 to 18, by conducting an overnight polysomnography
to determine the cause of conditions such as:
- Bedwetting
- Respiratory problems
- Parasomnias (sleep walking or talking)
- Snoring
- Sleep behavior issues
- Narcolepsy
- Sleep apnea
- Head banging or body rocking
Sleep studies are conducted in a comfortable setting at the hospital. A parent must stay the night. A separate bedroom is offered for the parent, and he or she may check on the child at any time through the night. If the parent wishes to stay in the same room with the child, comfortable sleeping arrangements are available.
