Clinical Studies Sign-Up

Boys Town National Research Hospital is currently seeking studies on the safety and effectiveness of medications and treatments for asthma, rhinitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and related respiratory disorders; ear, nose and throat diseases and disorders; pediatric gastroenterology, and vaccinations in both children and adults. Current studies include:

Milk-Based Study for Young Children

The purpose of this study is to explore the hypothesis that two dietary ingredients can positively
stimulate and boost the immune system in children–helping to better fight off colds and infections.

Your child may be eligible for this study if:

Your child is between 13 months - 4 years of age
Your child drinks the milk for three weeks
You and your child attend 2 study visits at 90 minutes each
You agree for your child to have a blood draw at each visit

Families will receive a $50 gift card after each completed study visit.

Childhood Ear Infection Clinical Study

A current study is being conducted on childhood ear infections and the impact they have on
families. Participating families will receive a $25 gift card upon receipt of the survey by the
American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. You may be eligible for this
study if:

Your child is between 6-24 months of age and
You are able to complete a 20-30 minute questionnaire.
