This class is offered exclusively for families, friends, and caregivers of children ages birth to five who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Classes will focus on using sign language with infants, toddlers and preschool children. Vocabulary will be centered around everyday communication with small children and will cover topics such as family, home, play time, dressing and going to preschool. We will also discuss strategies for building early language/listening behaviors, encouraging positive interactions, and reading to children with a hearing loss.
