Boys Town Behavioral Health Services offers secure, safe and medically directed programs for youth with psychiatric disorders from across the United States. As a part of the national Boys Town System of Care, a continuum of services for at-risk youth, the program allows for continuous, consistent treatment no matter the individual youth’s needs.
Two options are offered by Boys Town Behavioral Health Services:
Intensive Residential Treatment Center
The Intensive Residential Treatment Center is a secure residential program for youth ages 7 to 18 with psychiatric disorders. The Center is specifically designed to offer medically directed care for more seriously troubled youth who require supervision, safety and therapy but do not require inpatient psychiatric care. The Center provides around the clock supervision, locked/secure facilities and numerous safety and program features.
Specialized Treatment Group Homes
The Specialized Treatment Group Homes is a medically directed and staff-secure program for youth ages 10 to 18. The homes provide effective treatment within a family-oriented environment for youth with psychiatric disorders. The program offers support, care and round-the-clock supervision to enable youth to progress in daily living skills and appropriate healthy socialization.
Boys Town Behavioral Health Services are licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and accredited by the Joint Commission as a part of Boys Town National Research Hospital.
