Intensive Residential Treatment Center

The Center is a secure residential program for children and adolescents ages 7 to 18 with psychiatric disorders. Our program is specifically designed to offer medically directed care for more seriously troubled kids who require supervision, safety and therapy but do not require inpatient psychiatric care. The Center provides round-the-clock supervision, locked/secure facilities and numerous safety and program features. For many of these high-risk kids, placements in traditional treatment programs have repeatedly failed and reunification with the family holds little promise without stabilizing intervention.

Specialized Treatment Group Homes

The Treatment Group Homes offer a medically directed and staff-secure treatment program for youth ages 10 to 18. The program provides effective treatment within a family-oriented environment for youth with psychiatric disorders. Youth are given support, care and round-the-clock supervision to enable them to progress in daily living skills and appropriate healthy socialization. Residents are unable to function in normal family or community settings.

The goal of both programs is to help your child progress as quickly and effectively as possible to a less restrictive level of care, such as a group home, foster care or back home with in-home services. To reach this goal, the programs offer a structured treatment approach that:

• Provide a safe, secure residential environment necessary for psychiatric, behavioral and cognitive treatment
• Develop individualized, ongoing treatment designed specifically for each child’s particular needs
• Identifies and builds upon family and individual strengths
• Actively engages children and family members in intense family therapy
• Provide skills development to enhance academic, family, and social functioning
• Assist professionals in the child’s home community to ensure a successful transition to a less restrictive level of care
