The Audiology Center provides comprehensive audiological services to patients both young and old. Close ties between research and clinical programs at Boys Town National Research Hospital have resulted in state-of-the-art services. The Hospital is designed as a child-friendly environment, with specialized techniques to test infants and young children. A wide range of services is available for adults as well. Regardless of age, the initial goals of a hearing evaluation are to identify the degree, configuration, and type of hearing loss in order to determine the best course of treatment.
