Cochlear Implant Program Overview - History of the Program

The Boys Town National Research Hospital Cochlear Implant Program began in 1991. Since that time, approximately 250 children and adults have received cochlear implants at our center. Our staff currently follows about 300 patients clinically. Our patient population consists of roughly 50% adults and 50% children.
